The Research Of The Key Technique Of The International Postal Service Tracking & Tracing Enquiry System

China Post Group proposed to set up "International Postal Tracking & Tracing Enquiry System" to fulfill the requirements of our customers.First, the paper discusses the current situation and problem of postal enquiry, and elaborates on the conditions to developing the system based on the system feature. Business data will be centralized nationwide, and the "national center" is placed into 2 categories, one is "exchange center" for enquiry, statistics and management, the other is "data center" for data exchange from site to national center. Exchange center 5 categories from software environment. The two centers have their own supervising function to system respectively. To software, there are 5 subsystems. The design pattern to enquiry and management subsystem is based on J2EE. The design pattern to statistics subsystem is batch program which can be executive automatically or manually. Data exchange subsystem need to support concurrent request from other sites. The format of data exchange is batch file. The design pattern to system management is to select SOCKET to realize the supervising data communication from supervising PC to supervising server.The research shows that the layout and design of the "International Postal Tracking & Tracing Enquiry System" are reasonable and high efficient, we propose a practicable way to improve our service quality.
