Research On CMDB Of Campus Network Based ITIL

With the development for the construction and application of e-college, a high efficient management is necessary to promote the application of informatization. However, with respect to more and more complex Campus network environment, traditional service management mode cannot meet the requirements for IT operation and maintenance management. The theory of IT Infrastructure Library(ITIL)is the guiding ideology for process of IT services management(ITSM), and it provides an objective, rigorous and quantifiable standards and specifications to IT service and management in enterprise. Furthermore, it shortens the cycle of network service and troubleshooting and reduces the technology gap from job changes. With respect to enterprise management mode, it is possible to apply the ITTL theory into the management of high school campus network. With the analyses of campus network environment structure and existing configuration management database(CMDB) construction mode, security engineering capability maturity model (SSE - CMM) is introduced in this study. The study puts forward the 3 layers ability construction model which is made up of basic level, definition level, improvement level, and the range of CMDB configuration items (CI) is also elaborated, such as component depth and width, CI relationship between components, CI attribute which contains all information of components .This paper also puts forward the concept of safety risk levels of the CMDB configuration items, and designs the security incident handling pattern of campus network based safety risk levels. At last, ONECMDB open source tool is used to verify the feasibility for the application of the improved campus CMDB in the Fourth Military Medical University, and trial of CMDB in campus was utilized. In the end, the author puts forward the unresolved problems and prospects of the research.
