With the development of internet technology, network demonstrates its strong influence. Pubic opinion led by traditional media is impacted by the new media represented by network. Based on agenda setting theory, frame theory, gatekeeper theory, opinion leader theory, the thesis selects samples from the"People's Daily"and the"Forum on Making the Country Prosperous"as research material and makes a comparative analysis on the type and source of topic as well as the way, the keynote and direction of agenda setting. The thesis explores the relevance between the traditional media agenda and network agenda. Aiming at the problems, the thesis gives the proper solutions and concludes the strategies of optimizing the relationship between the traditional media agenda and network agenda.Through the research, We found that the disseminators centered on traditional media agenda has high issues types in the source of authority, so those subjects mainly show more serious conserns on in formal politics. compare to the network media recipients agenda, which focus on the recipients, traditional media in reflecting the degree of livelihood agenda has a lot of disadvantages; In the People's Daily, as a representative of the traditional media agenda set mode targeted, mainly in neutral to issues, and network BaoYi way is more optional, agenda derogative criticism for the Lord; issues Traditional media with network agenda agenda interactive process, also exist issues "scattered" overflow effect difference, "resonance" problems such as enough. With newspaper as a representative of the traditional media agenda and network agenda of "issues between fracture" and "issues dislocation" phenomenon more common, has greatly affected agenda-setting effect and influence. The research in this paper is beneficial to the traditional media, hope to better reflect public opinion, collected public opinion guide and supervise, and better implementation traditional media and Internet media interaction and fusion, create a favorable environment for public opinion and atmosphere.This thesis researches the relationship between traditional media agenda setting and network media agenda setting. The research focuses on the source, keynote and interaction of topics and does a reflection of the agenda-setting theory but does not include the time of topics and other aspects which remain to be further studied and discussed in the future.
