Based on ArcGIS Server, by means of database technology, sensor technology and software engineering concepts, combined with C#, ASP.NET AJAX, ArcGIS Server Web ADF and SQL Server 2008 database, developed a practical and scalable with Bridge Information Management System. Main tasks include the following:1. On the "bridge conservation norms" and "fundamental geographic information features of classification" and other national standard-depth study on the urban map of the geographic elements of screening and pre-defined, complete spatial database design and map base map drawing, improve the map drawing normative and efficiency.2. Use of client resources in server-side load pressure differentiation technology, through the interface of the ArcGIS Server Web ADF for the second package, the original completion of the ArcGIS map server operation, on the implementation of the client browser. At the same time, the help of ASP.NET AJAX technology, the client's asynchronous read and write the database to enhance the efficiency of the map marked and user experience.3. Realized the bridge condition index BCI algorithm, support for the bridge component used in 32 assessment of the situation, the bridge maintenance data meet the automatic analysis and decision support needs.4. Combined with the actual needs of the bridge data management, ASP.NET layered architecture of common design methods are analyzed and applied in practice in the project to achieve a geographic element space, attribute data and the bridge foundation information, maintaining data combination. System not only provides a map-based view and positioning of the bridge, and bridges have improved data management capabilities. The results showed that operation of the system through the ArcGIS Server, database management technology to bridge information, to effectively address the basic data bridges can not be closely integrated with spatial data, not real-time monitoring bridge condition, bridge condition assessment difficulties and other key issues, with a smooth operation, intuitive and easy to use, so that maintenance costs 40% less than the original, while improving the efficiency of information management bridge. In addition, the research paper for the next step will be ArcGIS Server and traffic management network in the combination of multiple business systems, build a unified network management system functions, with some reference.
