Chinese telecommunications are developing rapidly in recent years, the nunber of communication rooms in telecommunications increases dramatically. With more and more attention to environmental protection, consumption of large quantities of energy is worried. so saving energy in communication rooms become a very important thing in telecom industry. The main energy consumption of communication room is power consumption of electrical equipments in communication room. In order to make communication equipments in machine rooms work stably, temperature, humidity and other environmental parameters must been maintained in an appropriate range. Usually, air-conditioning equipments are equipped to adjust temperature and humidity in the machine rooms, those air-conditioning equipments work continuously throughout all the year, cause a lot of power consumption and serious wastage of air-conditioning equipments. The goal of this task is designing and implementing energy-saving environment control system of machine room which is based on the internet of things and the mode of distributed control. The new energy-saving environment control system can control fan and air conditioning which is used to replace the existing room environment of air-conditioning independent work, and reduce the energy consumption of the engine room.First of all, environmental characteristics of telecommunication equipment room and the problems of current air-conditioning systems are introduced. And then, the model and principle of energy-saving control system, and design plan of system have been explicitly analyzed.Then, this paper describes explicitly the model and the principle of energy-saving control system of machine room, the total designed plan of system. According to the network layer model of the internet of things, the energy-saving control system can be divided into three parts which include measurement and control node, master node and remote monitoring and control center. The measurement and control node is perception layer of the internet of things, the master node is the network layer of the internet of things, the remote monitoring and control center is application layer of the internet of thins. It use wired RS485 or wireless RF to communicate between measurement and control node and master node, master node is connected to remote monitoring and control center through Ethernet, routers and Internet.Secondly, the paper detailedly describes the design and implementation of the various parts of energy-saving control system which is composed of hardware and software. MCU which is named STC is the control core of the measurement and control node, it's used to collect data in sensor and work for device control. ARM processor is the control core of master node. It's responsible for transferring communication data between measurement and control node and remote monitoring and control center, providing human machine interface of the equipments in machine room. Through industrial control computer in remote monitoring and control center, users can monitor environmental parameters and system's work.Finally, by testing, the energy-saving control system can effectively reduce energy consumption. Aim of energy-saving and emission reduction has been achieved. This system use the internet of thins to remotely monitor the communication rooms. and provide secure guarantee for the equipment room with no people.
