With the development of social economy and the improvement of people’s living standard, more and more appliances flock in people’s lives, followed by the increasing of the household energy consumption, and the waste is even more serious. In the current, the energy situation is so tense, and how to minimize energy waste has become a key issue to be solved. With the rise of the Internet of Things, it is necessary that the IoT technology will be used in the construction field. So, the concept of the Internet of Things for Building Equipments come into being. The research on this controller has an great significance for energy-saving. Based on this, we conduct in-depth research and design the hardware and software. The specific studies include:First of all, the paper introduces the concept of the IoT for Building Equipments, and analyzes the involved key technology, for example, the judgment of personnel, the current detection, wireless communication and the fuzzy PID control technology. Fusing the detected current information and the pyroelectric infrared sensor information is the core of this design, the fuzzy PID technology is applied in temperature control, and the design for wireless communication is to realize the information interaction between the controller and the intelligent terminal.Secondly, for household electricity saving, the paper proposes the scheme of the control device in a "Leaving Home" model. On this basis, we adopt STM32F103XX as the microprocessor and design personnel detection module, current detection module, wireless communication module and other related hardware circuit. Through the software design, the controller can choose working mode, judge the personnel, detect current, process the collected data, adjust the threshold value and realize the wireless communication.Thirdly, for saving heat energy, the paper proposes the scheme of the Room temperature controller, the microprocessor is also the STM32F103XX, the hardware circuit includes temperature gathering, temperature control, LCD, manual/automatic operation and so on. The software design is mainly the temperature sensor data processing, temperature adjusting, fuzzy PID algorithm analyzing and parameter setting.Finally, combined with the intelligent terminal, we conduct several tests for the designed control devices and operate them in the building equipment Internet of Things. The results show that the designed controllers work stably and they have high performance. And so, they are worth to be promoted.
