The Research About Application And Maintenance-Management Of Packet Transport Network In Mobile Communication Network

Along with the rapid development of 3G data services, and some new models such as Broadband multi-task transmitting,the broadband supply of end to end appear constantly, the services of the transmission network is transforming from traditional TDM to the IP model. At prsent, the traditional SDH even the MSTP can't meet the demand of mobile services, the packet transport network (PTN) provides a very good solution for the efficient transmission of packet services and the good communication quality.The rapid development of PTN also produces serious challenges for the network maintenance and management. This paper bases on the mobile transmission network of Huizhou, makes some research methods for the networking strategy of PTN and the network maintenance and management of PTN:PTN network performance monitoring and flow analysis,standardization of PTN network alarm.The conclusion of this paper can apply to the practical application and network maintenance of PTN. This paper put forward some analysis methods that can be used in daily network maintenance, performance monitoring, service safeguard of PTN network services. These methods can monitor, present, maintain the PTN network and reduce invalid alarm effectively by using the network management system, so these methods can improve network maintenance efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, improve service quality of the PTN network for the mobile network operators.
