As long as China Telecom acquiring CDMA mobile services, especially the main service of the centralized monitoring of signaling network maintenance, the requirement of network security and high maintenance efficiency of signaling have become increasingly high, signaling network management tasks have become increasingly heavy. How to effectively monitor the network in order to understand the status of network operations and to detect the failures together with the timely diagnosis are the points that work maintenance personnel to be taken into account. In order to solve these problems, people have proposed a variety of management systems, standards, protocols, and use software techniques to set up a special network management system to help the personnel for the network maintenance.Taken the no.7 China Telecom's backbone signaling network as the background, this paper has illustrated how to use software techniques to set up an effective network management system in order to meet up the signaling network operation and maintenance needs. The article first make a research on the no.7 first signaling network, including the basic concepts, structure and development of changes, and then on the no.7 for China Telecom's backbone network signaling to maintain the status, thus make an analysis on the present operation and maintenance problems, as well as the network operations, quality analysis method. In this paper, based on the full understanding of the signaling network, a study on how to switch interface, alarms, command and performance of statistical analysis of statistical reports has been undertaken to realize the no.7 signaling network maintenance and management. In the right network management and all kinds of software technology research, based on the no.7 signaling network with the actual needs of the maintenance carried out on the no.7 signaling network design of integrated network management system. Design contents include:software architecture, system organization, functional components, database and functional interface. In addition, the paper makes a research on the no.7 signaling an integrated network management system test procedures and test methods.Integrated Network Management no.7 signaling system uses object-oriented design concept, multi-tier architecture and based on JMX (Java Management Extension) of the component-based design method to achieve an efficient and flexible network management system which possess a high s value to popularize.
