Large international financial companies all possess a worldwide service supporting system. Such systems constitute a significant reform in the business process of financial enterprises, since the front-stage and backstage of the businesses are completely separated - those functions and businesses (including data processing, disaster recovery, etc.) that are relatively independent with the direct business activities at each institution (i.e. the front-stage) and mainly providing supporting services are all handled at one place (i.e. the backstage) - which helps to make the service standardized, the cost reduced and the risk well controlled. With the convergence of data, platform and application, many problems regarding operation, maintenance or management will emerge. In view of this, to establish an effective IT service management platform becomes truly necessary.This article provides the solution to setup banking IT service management platform based on ITIL standards through analyzing the IT service management mode and the common issues of china banking. In this solution, through deep research for the advance ideas and recent development of ITIL, we design the banking IT service management platform mode which includes Service Desk, Incident Management process, Configuration Management process, Problem Management process, Change Management process and Knowledge Base and analyze the detailed requirement of IT service management platform. Based on the mode, we design the architecture adopting the solution based on J2EE application architecture platform and make the detailed design and specifically realization for system module.This article provides the feasible management mode and application system solution for china commercial banks especially small and medium-sized banks to setup IT service management process system, which have the significance of practical guidance for the IT department of commercial banks to realize the standard and process IT Management and enhance the IT Management quality and efficiency.
