As the annual 30% above rapid development of Chinese software industry, compounded with the bottleneck after fast growth of Chinese telecommunication, the software project in telecommunication industry has changed from originally "investment-oriented" to "application-oriented", from "leading-oriented" to "necessity-oriented", which is that, the requirement of customer focus on the demands of specific users and the effectiveness improvement of user running and maintenance. Furthermore, the customer invest less and less, while company cost become more and more, the requirement of customer go more strict and changes be made more frequently, however, the time window for delivery left shorter.Though ZZNode corporation passed the 4 level CMMI gradually from 2002 to 2007, which pushed their software development and management ability to comparably high level in related area, there are many problems occur when in the face of commercial environment nowadays of telecommunication industry, especially in the respect of improving art of software development and management, promoting efficiency and reducing cost. The bottleneck showed in these prospects urgently eager for optimization and reformation.This article analyses the existing problems of traditional CMMI in firm software developing progress and the pros and cons of Agile thought in software development and practice. Based on the comparison of two models, the paper concludes the feasibility and value of their integration. Given CMMI and Agile developing plans, integrate the traditional method with Agile thought, encourage their mutual complement, based on the practical situation and the difficulties encountered, Agile the CMMI progress, selectively adopt the suitable Agile thought and practice.Finally given the project case of product-line of transmission integrated network management system developed by ZZNode.inc, introduce and analyses the commercial surrounding and problems have to be solved in 2010 project operating. Focusing on these problems, with the prerequisite of not changing company constitute and policy, introduce the Agile development thought and practice, effectively implement the measure of CMMI and Agile integration and gain promising result.
