The Hardware Design Of A Slider Phone

This paper expounds the whole hardware design process of a slider phone,that from pre-assessment planning, circuit design and PCB layout, to post-test debug, recording all aspects of design, forming a design reference process of a slider phone. In this paper, the hardware design process is expounded from four parts. The first part expounds the project evaluation and the hardware design planning. First, the external view of the project and the stacked figure of the structure from the overall situation is introduced, main antenna and bluetooth antenna is internally assessed and the antenna supplier shows the assessment result about main antenna. Then, from the hardware, overall planning is made and the overall hardware block diagram is shown. The main board design planning and slide board design planning is descripted in detail, and the block diagram is shown accordingly. The second part expounds the principle diagram design. A MTK6225 platform is used in the project design.The design of the main chip is according to the platform reference design what provided by MTK. The circuit design is devided four parts:basic circuit design,interface circuit design,function circuit design and reliability design.In the circuit design process, the choice of component types and the selection of the circuit form, has be made the detailed analysis and comparison。And according to the late debugging the part of the circuit design would be optimized. The third part expounds the PCB layout. This part describes in detail the main board PCB layout and the slide board PCB layout, simply explanning about the FPC layout. The project adopts 6 layer half board design, components can reasonable.layout is the key. The fourth part expounds testing and debugging. This part expounds the test of hardware parts related to the project, including the test content, the test methods and the test results. And the problems and solutions are recorded in detail. According to the actual situation of the test, some hardware testing methods has been do adjustment and optimization. Finally comprehensiving the test case, the final assessment of hardware design would be made.
