The new round of curriculum requires the application and aesthetic aptitude in Chinese, as well as enterprising spirit, which means demanding students to explore the unknown field and acquire fresh information and make them talents in new times. The implement of reading instruction in conversational mode can meet this demand. It represents improvement of teachers' teaching method and more importantly the transformation of students'learning method. Students, being no more passive receivers, can cooperate with others independently and become explorers in constructing conversation with texts, students and teachers. The most crucial is to realize the equal and effective conversation in reading. Senior high Chinese teachers gain a lot through their ceaseless searching and practicing, but faced with some setbacks as well. The project will analyse and discuss the problem, through questionnaires and interviews, with the hope of finding the best solution.The whole passage is divided into four parts:Part 1:Outline on reading instruction in conversational mode It explains its implication, the multi-conversation, and sense.Part 2:The research and analysis on reading instruction i n conversational mode i n Dongshan School. It researches on the obstacles and its causes.Part 3:Some obstacles and its causes i n reading instruction in conversational mode.Chinese teachers may attach too much importance to the teaching form, activities in classroom, results regardless of the content, spare time activities and the instruction.Part 4:Some strategies in reading instruction in conversational mode.This part puts forward some breakthrough ideas of Chinese reading instruction in conversational mode in rural senior high. Also puts forward some effective strategies regarding environment, ability, method and teaching research, say, how to improve conversational environment, elevate conversational ability, optimize the method and refresh the conversational concept.
