K326 were used as materials to analyze the effects of controlled-release compound fertilizer on the physiological properties of flue-cured tobacco.The results indicated that the application of ordinary compound fertilizer(N : P2O5 : K2O=5g : 5g : 15g) and controlled-release compound fertilizer (N : P2O5 : K2O=5g : 5g : 15g) could greatly improve chlorophyll content, carotenoids content (fast growing topping stage), asorbic acid (AsA) content and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity (spherical plant topping stage), which could greatly reduce carotenoids content (at mature stage), the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) and the production rate of superoxide (O2-.) anion free radicals. Meanwhile, peroxidase (POD) activity and the content of glutathione (GSH) were improved to some extent ; Compared to ordinary compound fertilizer, the controlled-release compound fertilizer had more significant influence on the physiological property of flue-cured tobacco leaves.Increasing of the amount of controlled-release compound fertilizer largely improved chlorophyll content in the whole growth period, carotenoids content (spherical plant topping stage), asorbic acid (AsA) content (fast growing mature stage), superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity (spherical plant topping stage) and peroxidase (POD) activity (fast growing mature stage); contents of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in flue-cured tobacco leaves also showed an increasing trend. However, with amount of controlled-release compound fertilizer increasing, contents of carotenoids (at mature stage), malondialdehyde (MDA), ascorbic acid (at spherical plant stage), glutathione (GSH) (spherical plant fast growing stage) and the production rate of superoxide (O2-.) anion free radicals obviously decreased. For application of controlled-release compound fertilizer, the best effect was with total applied content(N : P2O5 : K2O=5g : 5g : 15g), followed by the 10% decrement (N : P2O5 : K2O=4.5g : 4.5g : 13.5g)of total applied content. The relatively lower effect of applying the 20% decrement(N : P2O5 : K2O=4g : 4g : 12g)and 40% decrement(N : P2O5 : K2O=3g : 3g : 9g)of total applied content was observed.Yunyan 87 were used as materials to analyze the effects of controlled-release compound fertilizer on growth and development as well as qualities of flue-cured tobacco, and the main conclusions were as follows:1 The effects of controlled-release compound fertilizer on growth and development of flue-curd tobaccoCompared with the zero-fertilization, common compound fertilizer(N : P2O5 : K2O=6g : 6g : 18g) and controlled-release compound fertilizer (N : P2O5 : K2O=6g : 6g : 18g) could effectively improve the plant height, stem girth, leaf length, leaf width and effective leaves of flue-cured tobacco. With the extending of growth period, the agronomic characteristics of each treatment were increased, and achieved maximum value in maturing stage. Each index of controlled-release compound fertilizer treatment was higher than common compound fertilizer and zero-fertilization treatment in maturing stage, and the differences were significant at the 0.05 level in stem girth.Compared with the zero-fertilization, fertilization could promote the dry matter accumulation of flue-cured tobacco. With the extending of growth period, the dry matter accumulation in the root system, stem and leaf of each treatment was gradually increased, and achieved maximum value in maturing stage. The accumulation and accumulation rate of each treatment was highest in the controlled-release compound fertilizer treatment, lower in the common compound fertilizer treatment and lowest in the zero-fertilization treatment. Fertilization could obviously promote the accumulations of flue-cured tobacco for nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium nutrient element, and the controlled-release compound fertilizer was better than common compound fertilizer.2 The effects of controlled-release compound fertilizer on flue-curd tobacco qualityFertilization could effectively improve the single leaf weight, tensile breaking strength, filling value, cut tobacco yield, leaf length and leaf width of tobacco in the upper leaves, middle leaves and lower leaves of flue-cured tobacco. Compared with common compound fertilizer, the single leaf weight (in middle leaves), tensile breaking strength (in upper and lower leaves), filling value (in upper, middle and lower leaves), cut tobacco yield (in upper leaves) of controlled-release compound fertilizer treatment were increased significantly.The contents of total sugar, reducing sugar, total nitrogen, nicotine, potassium of each treatment all showed the trend of controlled-release compound fertilizer treatment > common compound fertilizer treatment > zero-fertilization treatment. Except nicotine, the differences of other indexes among treatments were significant at the 0.05 level, and there had no significant difference of chlorine among treatments.
