China's State-owned Enterprises Of New Product Development Process Reengineering To Optimize Research

New product development is one of the key step in business processes, the headspring of all production activities of an enterprise, it is decisive to the initial cost of a product, and is the basic activity and the key step for market occupation by an enterprise. The success in new product development is determinant to enterprise benefit. Lifecycle of a specific product is becoming shorter, consumers are asking for more personalized and more diversified products and are becoming more 'precisely' to the performance and quality of a product, competition faced from the market is more and more strong, the concept and methodology adopted in traditional product design and development is facing a huge challenge. This paper deals with the strategy in new product development how to re-examine the development process to find the problems in the process and to optimize the process design on the basis of business process re-engineering theory and methodology, so that an enterprise can raise the productivity and reduce the cost to enhance the integrated competition.Firstly, this paper lucubrated the background of origination, the formation, meaning and the characteristics of business process re-engineering theory of enterprises to systematize the previous experience and outcomes in process re-engineering, and thus to facilitate the paper to provide help in optimization of new product development process re-engineering.Secondly, based on learning and referring to the practice by enterprises all over the world in business process re-engineering, this paper raised for enterprises the principles, strategies and process in optimization of business process re-engineering, and proposed a model for new product development process with reference to IDEFO.Thirdly, the paper studied and analyzed the current situation of the enterprises and the problems in business development process in China.Finally, based on the theory and optimization methodology of business process re-engineering, this paper supplied optimized design to a new product development process for a biotechnology equipment company located in Shandong Province.
