In recent years, with the rising fuel prices, airlines fuel costs proportion in the main operating costs is increasing higher and higher, it is now approximately 40% of the total cost. With the double pressure of highly competitive aviation market and the long-run under the high fuel prices, the airlines struggled with serious difficulties. The level of fuel costs can even determine the survival of airlines. How to reduce fuel costs has become the key to future economic benefits. Therefore, fuel-efficient has become the pressing, hot and difficult point that the airline faces.As Chinese current airspace are largely controlled by the military, so it is extremely difficult to achieve the purpose of aviation fuel-efficient through the airspace planning. It is also limited to achieve fuel-efficient aviation through the application of new technologies, because the application of new technology in CAAC is not mature. However, through the full use of our airspace and with the application of existing technologies, and using the scientific flight strategy, we can get to the very good fuel efficiency, and save a large part of the airlines' fuel costs, so that the airlines can take competitive position. Nowadays, the domestic airlines save aviation fuel depending on experience of pilots, and lack system support. This article is produced in such a background.This paper looked into the latest ideas and technologies of aviation fuel-saving, developed a software to analyze fuel-saving strategies for airlines, based on the present status of fuel-saving of nowadays Chinese airlines and the Grey correlation analysis theory, hoping to provide some technical support for pilots and operating personnel in fuel-saving strategies. The author began from controllable nodes of aircraft fuel-saving both on the ground and in the air, then worked out the appropriate fuel-saving strategies, designed and developed two fuel-saving sub-systems which are ground fuel-saving sub-system and airborne fuel-saving sub-system.With these systems, pilots and other operating personnel can analyze fuel-saving strategies from two sides-----on the ground and in the air. Finally, the effectiveness of the system is verified by detailed analysis of fuel-saving facts.In short, the Grey correlation based fuel-saving analyze soft-ware discussed in this paper can help pilots and operating personnel to reduce the airline's fuel costs, improve the airline's efficiency, enhance the competitiveness of airlines in a scientific manner in all phases of flight operations...
