Network Media And The Public Crisis Of Public Expression

The internet media, as a new information platform, is entering most fields of public life. This paper analyzes the basic forms that the public use the internet media to express such as instant messaging, discussion groups and blogs with"PX", Wenchuan earthquake and"Children's Hospital Incident in Nanjing"and other public crisis as the case research object. Through the research on Neukamm communication model and"co-orientation approach", this paper also explores the basic models in the communication of internet media and the relationship between the basic elements in it and public expression communication mechanism based on the three basic characteristics of internet media-hypertext, multimedia and interactivity. Finally the paper has in-depth discussion about several important issues of public expression and its significance.
