Based On The Design Of The Network Group

With the rapid development of network technology, the network-based newspaper publishing software development is gradually put on the agenda. Large newspaper groups want to manage and control the entire publication process, and they need a cooperative work environment urgently. So the need of real-time collaborative typesetting is put forwards. Considering above market demand, we decide to develop a cooperative network typesetting system. This research project will greatly improve the efficiency of the newspaper, magazine, and make important contributions to the informatization, networkware, intelligentization of domestic publishing industry.To meet the actual need, Object-oriented development methods are used in this thesis, and a cooperative network typesetting system based on Computer Supported Cooperative Work is developed, it makes the function of design process in layout better. People can complete the coordination process collaboratively and improve the time efficiency, and enhance collaboration capabilities. Cooperative network typesetting system not only makes common typesetting possible, but also provides a page of the production process management and monitoring, and provides a platform for people to work together.In this thesis, the object-oriented modeling and UML-based language is used to describe the functional parts of the system design. Mainly focusing on part of the system cooperative work, according to the designing idea of newspaper, magazine publishing software, beginning with the storage of information model for shared object, this thesis completes the storage and sharing of system's layout information, information transmission and distributing, and the control and coordination of the object version in unusual circumstances, and this will become an important component. To meet the needs of cooperative work, a storage model for page editing system is designed. By Object-oriented designing methods, the communication protocol of layout editing system is designed to achieve synchronization of layout level. Design and implementation of communication server is completed for the exchange and management of the layout data.The key problem in this system is the control and management process of cooperate working. In this thesis, database server and network communication server is designed to solve this problem, the network communication server is used to administrate the news transmission, text, the temporary results in servers. In the designing process, the cooperate working mechanism in designing layout is mainly using sequence diagram and state diagram, and guarantees the consistency by retreating the no-response message and distributing storage of layout information. Some solutions are provided to solve the accessing conflict problem in multi-user cooperatively.Finally, some improvement and prospect for the cooperative network typesetting system is described.
