Computer Supported Cooperative Design (CSCD) is an important part of Concurrent Engineering and the production patterns in the 21 centuries. It is important that designers, manufacturers and users are able to participate in the design at different places synchronously or asynchronously. With its help, the quality of design can be improved and the efficiency of design can be raised.The CAD system base on cooperative work model is one of research topics in CSCD. In this paper, the fundamental conception, characteristic, the system structure of CSCD are systematically summarized. System architecture of composite cooperative framework is constituted, and a in-depth study is carried through on the key technologies in it. The major work in this paper is as follow:1. In view of cooperative design process between the design object produces conflict, establishes the Petri net collision detection model, produces the consistency algorithm of conflict, and has made the example simulation.2. In view of concurrency control question that in the cooperative CAD system, uses the time stamp technology, proposed based on the time stamp concurrent control rule, and has produced the time stamp concurrent control algorithm design in detail.3. In view of collaborative awareness question that in the Human-human interactive interface. Base on researching Collaborative Awareness, the thesis takes the concept of auto-adapted multi-cursors, and researches the design of auto-adapted multi- cursors.
