Millimeter-wave with its unique advantages in the electronic system has been widely applied, and can produce special effects. With the military and civilian communications technology is rapidly developing, for the high-efficiency solid-state source of increasing demand for power amplifiers. However, as the frequency increases, the output power a single device in the microwave band / millimeter-wave band will rapidly reduce. Especially in millimeter-wave band, the available output power of a single device often can not meet the requirements of engineering systems. Therefore, it improves the device output power, the structure has the advantages of the small size, light quality, high reliability became one of the key issues of today's millimeter-wave system development. Components for power through a combination of single-synthesis method to obtain high output power,a strong impulse to efficient power divider / combiner circuit development.The object for the manufacture of 6mm solid-state source, the system consists of Ku-band DRO (Dielectric Resonantor Oscillator)with a second multiplier, filter, and then a second multiplier, filter, times after the V-band power divider,after power-off for every road has a high ratio switch, after amplification the output signal through the switch. This paper describes the system 6mm solid-state source, a detailed discussion of the various components of the implementation plan.Based on the above a 6mm solid-state sources has been produced physically, the system provides two-way independent control of the output signal, under the existing conditions of the relevant test, the two-way have 18dBm output power, phase noise is less than -70dBc/Hz@10KHz, each output channel switch on-off ratio is more than 60dB. The system achieved the expected target, various parts of the system will be introduced one by one in the thesis.
