This dissertation is mainly on the analysis and experiment-design of millimeter-wave two-port power device solid state impulse-transmitter, the research and develops of Ka-band step solid state impulse amplifying sources is accomplished.Firstly, the characteristics of millimeter-wave and its applications are introduced. It also gives the latest development of the Ka-band solid state impulse-transmitter and its correlation components. Considering of the subject's requirement and the practical conditions, the technology of three stages inject-locking amplifying was used to achieve the goal. In chapter 2, we introduce the theory used in the experiment. Chapter 3 introduces the theory of solid state impulse-oscillator. In chapter 4, we talk about the theory of inject-locking. In chapter 5, the detailed project is confirmed and the key-components of the system are designed and tested. We also give the test procedure and results of the Ka-band step solid state impulse amplifying sources. Finally, we review the whole design of the circuit and give some advice to the circuit design for further development. |
