With the development of millimeter-wave technology in communications,radar, guidance and other aspects,Millimeter-wave frequency source has beenwidespread concern in the industry and research.In this context,the W-bandfrequency source link research and design implementation are shown.at the beginning of this paper, the study of the situation and the historyof the development of millimeter wave technology at home and abroad areintroduced, And proposed to achieve the overall goal of this design.Thenthe analysis and implementation of millimeter-wave power amplifier frequencysource key components are discussed,And made a scientific and effectiveimplementation.The third chapter is to highlight the specific design and commission-ing process of the millimeter-wave power amplifier device,and it proposesthe methods to achieve accurate debugging using external voltage regulatormodules.The fourth chapter gives the testing process and results analysis ofthe millimeter-wave frequency source components,then the test methods andsystematically analyzing of the link are shown.Finally, the paper puts forward the corresponding measures for improvementof the problems encountered during the entire study to provide a theoreticalbasis and direction for the future more in-depth work.This paper aims achieve a millimeter-wave power amplifier frequency sourcelink with frequency range of92~96GHzand flat output power greater than26dBm.The tests verify that the source of millimeter-wave frequency poweramplifier link design meets the requirements with26dBm more output powerand9.0dBm more power gain in the range of92~96GHz,and the output isrelatively flat.And the saturated output power terminal of the power amplifieris more than27.8dBmin the range of92~96GHzwith the stable output,goodindicators. In addition,with in the millimeter wave power amplifier frequency bandother than the source link design requirements were tested,Test results showthat the link can reach more than a output of up23d Bmand a gain of up to10dBin the range of87~99GHzfrequency. Its output is relatively flat,good performance. So far this project design tasks are completed.
