Sharepoint-based Project Management System In Small And Medium-sized Software Companies Design And Realization

In today's society, software project is the rapid growth of demand, for a software development company which needs to produce high-quality products and increase productivity, the adoption of appropriate management process is very important. In the past, the experience and lessons of many large-scale software systems development indicate that in the process of software development, if not a good implementation and management of software development process, it can not be a smooth and efficient completion of software development tasks, users are not satisfied with the software products. Software development project management information system is designed to achieve software development project management information, through project management systems, software development companies to more efficiently and more scientific management of software development projects, played improve efficiency, reduce the time, cost savings the role of the ultimate effective and improving the comprehensive competitive strength. This paper summarizes the development of domestic and foreign software project management information system on the situation, and analyses the current software project management and the main contents of the existing problems, and set project management information system based on sharepoint that applied to software development for small and medium-sized software companies.First of all, this article discusses the background and purpose of the topic and summarizes and studies the development of project management system. Then, this article also discusses the relevant technologies of project management, an overview of project management model, agile development methodology, Microsoft SharePoint platform knowledge.Secondly, this article conducts the feasibility analysis for the development of SharePoint-based project management system, and discusses the system model and operating environment, and describes the choice of the development environment.Finally, this article designs the architecture of whole project management system from three aspects such as the functional requirements, B/S structure of the design, technical support. The entire project management system is divided into eight sub-systems: requirement analysis subsystem, software design subsystem, development process subsystem, testing and defect tracking subsystem, operation and maintenance subsystem, meeting management subsystem, performance evaluation subsystem, and Knowledge Base subsystem. All these subsystems manage and control project development process at every stage. The last part of the paper, we present a detailed implementation of requirement analysis subsystem.The characteristics and innovation of this paper is to design and implement the SharePoint-based project management system for small and medium-sized software enterprises. The system can automate the management work of entire software development life cycle, and provide a consistent interface for every development stage. At the same time, customers will also join the development process. We accumulate the knowledge base document and control the all versions of the documents. We also add performance evaluation subsystem into our project management system. The system uses the B/S three-tier technology architecture and built-in workflow engine, and provides an open API for functional extension of the distributed project management system.
