With the development of embedded technology and the popularity of high-speed broadband network, the use of remote monitoring and control network has been widely accepted, network monitoring technology is embedded in the progressive development of this condition, with sophisticated. Users to use Web browser, through Ethernet remote access built-in Web server, surveillance cameras, not only can be achieved on the field of remote video monitoring, and can send commands to the monitoring site. Throughout the system implementation process, the embedded Web server plays an important role, so, in the embedded network video monitoring system, Web server design of the monitoring system has a direct impact on overall performance, only with efficient Web server, monitoring performance of the system to get full play.In recent years, with the computer network technology and the rapid development of multimedia technology, network video more and more applied in all aspects. One is the monitoring technology, it being networked, digital, intelligent aspects of development, using IP network remote network video surveillance is a growing trend, the analog video signal into a digital signal monitoring the introduction of the Internet, you can achieve anywhere monitoring function. The core part is to use the Ethernet connection into the video capture device, providing real-time image acquisition, compression and transmission functions.Development needs for the above, this thesis presents a network video surveillance system, its hardware to S3C2440 ARM9 processor core, including Flash, SDRAM, USB camera, network controller, RS-232 interface building embedded Linux platform and in the platform to achieve real time data acquisition camera through the transplant Bootloader, Linux kernel and root file system make building embedded software platform. Introduced the Web-building network video server, the system specifically for use with embedded systems, its high efficiency and high security advantages of the coexistence of the Boa server, it supports the Common Gateway Interface (CGI), users can remotely control the video monitoring system, the client is Java-Applet implemented. Video server mainly achieves the user connection, data acquisition and compression functions. PC users through the client interface can monitor real-time monitoring remote video images.Due to time and capacity limited knowledge of the system combined with embedded Web Design, Boa deployment and the corresponding CGI programming ultimately embedded Web of network video surveillance systems monitor the client interface is simple, function not complete, since there opportunities will further perfect the system so that it functions better and stronger.
