Design Of Video Surveilance Based On Embedded Webserver

With the development of the embedded system technology, multimedia technology and network communications technology, Digital Video Monitoring System rises abruptly. Video surveillance system based on embedded web server has the most development potential. Howerver, video surveillance business of current home user market in our country is not yet mature, such products applicable to domestic users are very few on the market. Hence, the research of this kind of product will have broad application prospects.Firstly, the recent development and the trend of video monitoring system is introduced, and the embedded internet long-distance monitoring system is researched, and a whole framework and realization scheme of video monitoring system based on embedded web technology is presented. Combined embedded development technology with Internet technology, one embedded B/S pattern long-distance video monitoring system which based on the ARM processor and Linux operating system is constructed.Secondly, a whole design is made in the aspect of hardware and software. As to hardware, S3C2440A is chosen which is with good performance and low price. The reset circuit, serial circuit, storage circuit and so on are designed. As to software, Bootloader, embedded Linux kernel are transplanted successfully. Moreover, application modules of video capture, video compression, video transmission and cradle head control are developed.Finally, the core platform of the system is embedded Linux systems and embedded micro-controller S3C2440A, through the embeded Web server established on this platform, the video signal from the USB camera is transmitted to the client side, so as to complete the video monitoring of the family. Moreover, a conclusion is made and the next work is prospected.
