Biztalk-based Digital Campus Data Exchange Platform And Implementation

With the rapid development and popular of modern information technology, the style of producing, working and living of human has been changed greatly. Taking colleges as example, the development of modern information technology provide new tools and methods for college education informationization. Recently, promoted by referred plans of ministry of education, the construction of digital campus achieved great progress. Universities got great development in the construction of network infrastructure and information systems, achieved OA, digital library, education through network and management through network. There are many isolated business system in campus, including educational administration system, scientific research administration system, personnel administration system, finance administration system, graduate administration system and so on. Because those systems were based on the requirement of theirself department, using different databases and technology, lacking the consideration of whole campus, not had identical data criterions and consistent access interface, there were many"information isolated isles"in campus, but the requirement of data shared and exchanged had become urgent. The old method of data exchange were realized by disks or emails, in those way, so much same information existed in different systems, but those data were changed all the time, there must be some dirty data in those systems. So, to satisfy the requirement of data shared and exchanged of the construction of digital campus, data integration is needed urgently.By the research of isomerous data integration plan and referred technology, consideration the practical condition of digital campus construction of ChongQing University, put forward the digital campus data exchange platform based on BizTalk, designed and developed this platform, and applied it successfully in the project of digital campus construction of ChongQing University. To most databases, this model synchronize data with adapters real-time and the new system can integrate with the platform through publishing and subscribing the Web Service, has strong scalability. This model also provide solution for transaction management and the monitoration of data exchange process which traditional integration plan can not accomplish, meet the requirement of construction of campus isomerous data integration platform greatly, promote the construction of university digital campus walking to the deeper field.
