The improvement of campus information made universities bought lots of digital resources, meanwhile, teachers and students produced a variety of personalized digital resources, including some advanced subjects or various digital resources of research bases, these resources are large enough, but their applictions are not so satisfied. First of all, the problem of redundant information, many universities bought the database based on the principle of large and complete which included a huge number of repeat.information. Secondly, the issue of information islands, various types of databases and digital resources are not related to each other, various resources from different vendors, various systems of independent development and the digital resources related to the systems, these heterogeneous resources are not effective integrated, it can not converse and integrate at different levels and can not communicate among the different resources either. Furthermore, human knowledge is a close related object, butthese resources at this stage can not demonstrate the integrity of the system in knowledge, it is not be able to demonstrate the internal relationships of subject knowledge, in the end, it's the problem of the comprehensive utilization of digital resources.This paper used the construction project of SWUST digital campus as the background. It introduced some technologies of data integration first, describes the whole framework of a data integration system which is based on XML and described the role of different components of the entire framework and the whole data flow, brought up the method that using mapping to achieve the functions like mapping rule,conversion methods and data transmission of XML documents and between the related database, also, this pape described the design of the key components in a framework and how to implement it, then use the description of the application scenes to get into the features and advantages of it. At last, described the application of using this data integration prototype in education area for campus construction.
