Intelligent Transport System (ITS) is the import development direction of traffic transport area in the future, it integrates effectively advanced web GIS technique, vehicle GPS technique and wireless communication technique, and can greatly enhance transport efficiency and benefit, and is also the import section of"Digital City".The content of this paper includes: used MapInfo Company's MapXtreme Java map server to create and render map images dynamically; combined vehicle terminal GPS positioning device and GPRS communication technique to control automobile status at any time; interacted with users, and provided graceful and simple graphics user interface; partitioned functions to realize the client-server burden-balance system architecture and improve response ability of map data; used web technique to issues information, constructed a vehicle Control Center based on WebGIS..The communication between application server vehicle positioning and terminal adopted Socket-based TCP/UDP transmission protocols, UDP protocol for image data transmission while TCP protocol was used for general information interaction, in this way, it could enhance data transmission efficiency. While receiving the image data packages, used Bubble-Sort algorithm, which could make sure that packages arranged according to the expectant order. Further more, this system could support multi-devices to connect synchronously.The whole system has full and practical functions, which could zoom and cruise map, gain geometry information and measure distance between two points, it also has advanced GIS functions such as hawk-eyes, search-positioning and theme mapping, moreover, and it can vehicle real-time positioning,show history track and shoot images of vehicle scene, and so on. It is greatly fixed for Intelligent Transport System fields, for example, the control of public bus and goods flowing, tracking of cash or danger carrying vehicle. |
