The rapid development of computer science has brought infinite vitality for the development of telemedicine. As wireless communication technology, electronics and information technology development, computer development has entered the mobile age. The embedded systems which are represented by palm computer (PDA) are more and more popular. It is possible that medical care is anytime and anywhere by combining the mobile objects which use mobile computers or mobile network and the huge data space seamlessly.Thesis first introduced tele-monitoring systems research background, research and analysis of existing problems, the research objectives. Then set out the relevant background knowledge, for the wireless communications tele-monitoring system and provide a theoretical foundation. And on the wireless communications system for monitoring the overall planning and design; analysis of various wireless access technologies and their applications, select the GPRS network as a wireless communications network and related communications GPRS mobile terminal to connect theory and analysis of network flow studies to determine the specific access; Analysis and Design Center guardianship function, the principle of implementation and applications. For mobile monitoring equipment, reference virtual medical instrument signal modular structure, the use of advanced embedded systems (Windows CE), with reference to the international standard IEEE 1073 for their research and design planning. Wireless data transmission through the analysis of treatment to ensure that the data transmission bandwidth, reliability and continuity of form and design of data compression programs; on the application of software in data acquisition and wireless communications modules analysis and specific design principle.In this paper, based on wireless communications, tele-monitoring system provides new ideas and ways to resolve or improve the current tele-monitoring system in a number of issues, mainly the introduction of health monitoring of multi-function wrist communication terminal design and analysis, wearable wear wrist monitors and multi-function health monitoring terminal to form a star topology of the wireless personal network. Wrist wearing multi-function health monitoring terminals mainly composed by the wireless communication module, speech recognition modules, mobile communication module, data processing and display module.This research mainly related to telemedicine, virtual medical signal instruments, hospital data transmission system, international standards, the technology of wireless and network communication, the interface of computer communication and the technology of embedded development.
