In recent years, as the ever-increasing scale, complexity and heterogeneous of the computer network, the performance of computer networks is heavily dependent on efficient network management, which has become a hot research topic in the field. Network management refers to the operation of computer networks to monitor and control the situation so that it can be efficient, reliable, safe and economical delivery of services. Network management consists of two tasks, one of the network operations monitoring, and second, the operational status of the network control.In this thesis, according to the analysis and research of the network management, focusing on network management requirements of the financial system, the network management is implemented also based on SNMP protocol. According to detailed analysis of SNMP protocol, the author gives the overall design of the network monitoring system, system design required to achieve data collection of the server-side, monitoring Proxy Client of Agent, which One data acquisition using multi-threading technology, Multi-Agent Monitoring Agent for intelligent decision-making to achieve. Following the author introduces network management system alarm monitoring and statistical analysis of the two core functions of practical use.Finally, the author makes a summary about the research and work on the development of the network management system and notes that the network needs to be further improved.
