Design And Implementation Of A Modern Computer Room Management System

Nowadays,With the development of computer technology, the computer has penetrated intoa lot of fields in our society. As the important class of the colleges, the computer course has become popular among the courses that students take. Training-on is playing a more and more important role in the course of teaching. To satisfy more and more busier training-on teaching and how to make use of limited computer resourses effectively, we need to design a new computer room management system.After analysing the current situation of computer room management, a series of management problems, for example, the course scheduling, the time and cost of statistics analysis have been researched. The aim of this research is not only to develop the computer room's management ability,but also to decrease the managers'intensity. Based on this, this article will introduce the whole systerm of the process of development . From the point of view of software engineering, the network communication technology and database access technologies have been the design tool, and the hybrid model of C/S and B/S have been used during this new system. It adopted the UML Unified Modeling and used Visual Basic 6.0 as the programming language. the system development process are based on object-oriented software engineering methods. Firstly ,current system has been analysed. Then, according to the total structure function, detailed design and implementation have been introduced. to its function,.This system can be divided into four modules: room management module,course management module; the information and publishing statistical inquiry;and fund management module. Among them, room management module, course management module and financial management module are based on C / S model. In addition, the part of the course management module features,and information statistics query module are based on B / S model.This system has realized the vested functions. It not only makes the previous work easier for students that use the computer, but also simplifies the administrator's management. Besides, it has greatly enhanced the efficiency of modern computer room management. In a word, on one hand,this system can save a large number of human resources and financial resources ;on the other hand, it can make the managing level of modern computer room uprise to a new step.
