The thesis designs and achieves the integration of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and CFE (Customer Finance Expert) within financial institutions though the research of internal systems and the comparison between the communication structures and models used in the past.Specifically, the main achievements for this thesis are listed below:1. The introduction of the system features, advantages and disadvantages of middleware which used in the current financial institutions, and the explanation of the technical characteristics and applications of the existing middleware through the combination of theory and practical..2. The introduction of the concept of the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and the definitions and technologies of XML/Web services.3. The analysis and explanation of the requirements and design of the application integration, the description of the solutions and logical structure based on Web services and the design for each functional module in details.Finally, the thesis summarizes the entire system. Through the Web services to integrate internal systems, the efficiency of various systems will be fundamentally enhanced, the workload of the duplicated development will be reduced and the system configuration will be greatly improved. Thus it can help meet the different requirements from clients and improve the competitiveness and adaptability of financial institutions.
