China Academic Library And Information Optimal Allocation Of Economic Analysis

With the constant development of higher education in our country, the information resource construction become very important in the construction of university library has been developing rapidly. However, the utilization of information resource has changed due to the improvement of the network environment, the tremendous resource increase and muli-element of the resources carriers. Because of these, the library resource configuration has become more complicated. It is significant and urgent for us to pay more attention to the problems of how to spend the limited fund and allocate information resource scientifically and rationlly to meet the needs of academic subjects and the demands of teachers and students to maximize the overall efficiency of information resource.As is well known that there are many factors which may affect the optimal configuration of the library information resource. This artical is from the economic point view to introduce an analytical tools of economics to the issue of optimal allocation of information resource. This paper puts foward the necessity of the optimal configuration of the library information resource and then summarize the features and the principles on the basis of the status of the configuration of the library information resource. After introducing the AHP, the paper uses this analytical tool of economics to analysis the status of the configuration of the library information resource of Xi'an Jiaotong University. In the end, this paper makes some generalization and points out some prospect for further study.
