With the development of information technology and network communicationtechnology, the information flow rate of the modern university library has changedgreatly. Although the university libraries have adopted the digitalized andinformationized management mode and means, most of them can just be applied inquerying massive amounts of information. It is urgent for the universities to make use ofthe advanced technology and means to do in-depth process on various data informationand to find out the potential demands so as to push forward the university librarymanagers to constantly improve business performance and management level. For thecurrent needs, the thesis designs and realizes the University Library ResourceConfiguration System based on the data mining technology.The thesis firstly introduces the data mining technology. Based on the data miningtechnology, the thesis sets up the subtask business process of the library resourcesconfiguration system and gives their structure. The business process based on systemdesigns the four-layer B/S structure of the system. It sorts out and designs the systemfunctional modules according to the system structure, analyzes and designs the databasestructure, optimizes the database performance, depicts the main functions of all thefunctional modules, realizes the system login module, information management module,information optimization module, and decision management module, etc.The computer management system module has been set up in the thesis by thedesign of the following modules: the decision making, library resource management,information resource construction, enhancement of the service quality and servicemethods. By testing, the system has the ability to effectively improve the utilization anddecision efficiency. It has innovated the library management working mode to make itmore adaptable for the information age.
