Urban planning is a comprehensive science,when the planning department approve kinds of affairs, need to refer to the basic maps, underground pipelines, the general plan of city, the control plan of city, special plan and other related informations,then carry out related research and analysis.With the acceleration of urbanization, the scale of the city construction become more and more huge, public have more increasingly demands to planning department,such as quality, efficiency, scientific, the traditional processing model can't meet the demand of more high standard for the construction, efficient management and quality of service requirements to urban planning, it is imperative to set up the planning informationize.In recent years, lots of planning department have established information system, such as mis, gis system, underground and pipelines system in the exploration of the informationize for many years, but the data of the support these systems is just used for lonely affairs. System become isolated information island because of lots of reason, the planning informationize can't bring good value.The disordered, error data is affecting the scientification of making decision, therefore need to data integration gradually urgent.This paper mainly introduces the Bureau of Huaian urban Planning to adopt UML modeling,GIS technology and data integration technology, excavated 17 business flow, migrated relevant data, sorted out the relevant forms, GIS data was layered by code and symbol. By integrating planning manage information system, achieve the goal of information sharing, make sure the efficiency of the planning manage information system,increase the transparency of the approval process.
