College Office Automation System Based On Xml Web Services Applications

Along with the rapid development of higher education and computer networking technology. University's scale of study programs expands day by day, the construction of Office Automation System(OAS) is imperative. The goal of OAS is to realize the e-government management, change the traditional manual working way, enhance standards and standardized degree of administrative work and improve work efficiency and service quality. OAS is not only the inevitable trend which Supposes the future work development but also the essential constituent of school numeral informatization.This paper has introduced the current research status of office automation system at home and abroad,the reason of developmenting Office Automation System of colleges and universities based on XML Web Services,and fundamental knowledge theory of XML Web Services;Secondly aimming at Office Automation System needs of colleges and universities,gives the detailed analysis including a detailed description of the main functional modules and business flow chart;Thirdly the system design of Office Automation System based on XML Web Services is designed, including system design principle, system structural design, system function design, the choice of the development platform, development kit and the system software and hardware environment;Then explains the Web Services design and implementation of the system main modules in detail, including single sign-on modules based on Web Services, documents query module implementation based on Web Services, implementation of system log module based on Web Services, Systems Integration based on Web Services; At last ,This system uses software of Microsoft Visual Studio2008, Microsoft WSE 3.0,the language of ASP.NET, object-oriented language of VC#, database of sql server 2000. Office Automation System based on xml web services is well realized, that System has been on business for JiangXi Universitie of Science and Technology.The results show that Office Automation System has many functions including login management,documents management, everyday concerns management,information management, personal concerns management, communication system and system management etc. It not only reduces the cost of daily work but also raises the efficiency of daily work and meanwhile strengthens cooperation of employees.
