City Newspaper Economic Factors Research

The important feature of newspapers makes city newspaper industry becomes an important part of the newspaper industry. The healthy development of city newspaper industry is critical to the development of the newspaper industry. Then, the city newspaper industry is influenced by these factors, how is its future? Starting in 2005, China's newspaper industry entered the fourth growth cycle. The importance and urgency to study the city newspaper industry development is gradually emerged.This article is trying to find out the impact of the newspaper industry development by qualitative description, quantitative analysis and empirical research so that we can give suggestions for the city newspaper industry development. This article gives a definition of the concept and range of study of newspaper industry according to the relative theory on economics and communication science, and summarize the factors influencing the newspaper industry from the aspect of publication and advertising of newspapers. Secondly, the article engages in a data inspection with Ningbo newspaper industry as the sample, using graphs to illustrate that the newspaper's publication is affected by a city's population, living standard, reader's preference and a city's development, and also the newspaper's advertising is influenced by the newspaper itself, macroeconomics, income for consumption and the city's development. In this paper, Ningbo City Press as an example, the construction of the economic impact of the city's newspapers factors model regression analysis, using SPSS software, the regression equation obtained. Finally, this paper diverse the City Press to the digital, regional development.We believe the national economy is developing as well as our cities are developing, which will push the growing of city newspaper industry.
