Research On IP Address Resource Distribution And Its Influencing Factors

The Internet is the most important infrastructure in today’s society, the IP address is the basic resources of the Internet, international commonly use the IPv4 system with 32-bit binary representation of an IP address, about 4.3 billion addresses, but has been unable to meet the requirements of social development, and IPv4 addresses of Asia-Pacific region have been fully allocated. The universal application of IPv6 will become the trend of the development of the network.In this paper, first analysis of APNIC and CERNET Who is database information, extract key informations, and locate the geographical location of IPv4 address, than observe the distribution of the IPv4 address in mainland China.Then research the factors that affect the distribution of IPv4 addresses, with the development of science and technology, more and more rapid development of the Internet, the area of the better development of the Internet, the economic growth rate is relatively high, so we analyze the relationship of the GDP, population, other statistical indicators and the number of IPv4 addresses, get correlation and linear regression equation of these factors and the number of IPv4 addresses.When deploying IPv6, we have to take into account to prevent excessive growth in the routing table and uneven distribution of the IP address, therefore we based on the IPv4 address influencing factors, give IPv6 address allocation recommendations for guidance, can do some reference in the deployment of IPv6 address.
