Now,3G(the 3rd Generation) network has come in to China,and the communication networks are being laid out.With the complication of the wireless networks and wireless environment,more soft wares for wireless networks programming are used to forecast the signal cover of the base station by telecommunication carrier and other related personals.At the same time,the mobile communication system is very different from fixed wireless communication systems or fixed communication systems.The propagation of wireless signal is extremely random.The fluctuation of the signal wave is very obvious and the signal strength is restricted by the environment.In order to employ the resource of frequency reasonably and get the best quality of the network performance,many soft and propagation models are used to predicting& analyzing the signal strength distribution.At the present time most of the predicting models, always directly come from other countries,for macro cellular is statistic models based experience.The accuracy isn't satisfying.Propagation model is the foundation of mobile communication network programming,whose veracity is relevant with the rationality of the network programming.With the rapid development of mobile communication network,the match degree of the propagation model with the local environment is attached importance to by telecommunication carrier.The exact propagation model which can give the wireless propagation characteristic should be tested and proofread in the mobile communication intricacy environment,which is more important to the 3G system.So it is necessary to test and proofread the propagation model so as to layout the wireless networks in reason in 3G system.In this paper,the typical and widely utilized propagation model and its calculation principle,data processing methods and the flow of propagation model emendation are introduced.The wireless propagation model of 3G system in Harbin is designed,and then the experiment is simulated based on the model.The optimum results of 3G networks in Harbin mobile communication are given by the optimizing to the networks.The purpose of the paper is to improve the forecast level,network efficiency and quality,to reduce the cost of maintenance and optimizing and to reduce the expenditure of CAPEX(Capital Expenditure) and OPEX(Operating Expense) by research on the wireless propagation environment, propagation model and the methods to model modeling.
