Receiver always play critical roles in the wireless communication system performance. Based on the analysis and study of previous researchers and characteristics of receiver performance and structure from user's request, in this paper, a superheterodyne receiver front-end with double-conversion solution is put forward and improved. And at last a C-band three-channel receiver is developed. From the test results, we know that the gain is approximately equal 18dB, the ratio of swiching on and off is higher than 55dB, isolation between channels is greater than 32dB and image-frequency rejection is greater than 15dB.It has achieved the target.Chapter 1 presents the development of microwave and millimeter devices and integrated circuits. Then, the schematic diagram and component index estimation of Ka band millimeter wave double conversion receiver are given.Chapter 2 put forward the specific scheme and the solution on technology of the receiver based on analyzing the receiver'structure and the main technology index.Chapter 3 is concerned with designing possive device,including SPST, image-frequency rejection mixer, power supplier board and with analyzing passive circuit of this project, including microstrip secter power divider, LC IF band pass filter.Chapter 4 has realized the Ka band millimeter wave double conversion receiver by the HMIC–MMIC combined design method. It included the presents of designing the port and power supplier, presents of how to assemble and fabricate the receiver. Finally,we tested the receiver and analyzed the result.Finally, test data of the receiver indicate that subject develop this meet the specification requirement basically, and has proposed improving the scheme to the weak point. It gives some improvement advise and easily ignored points that can provide important experience for later research on it.
