Wireless Communications Equipment, Automatic Test System Software Design

Wireless communications facility needs an open,scalable and reusable automatic test system to satisfy the testing and diagnosis requirements.This automated test systems shall automatically test the performance of wireless communications equipment,diagnosis and localization the fault,and support the maintenance to overall performance of wireless communications network.The performance parameters of all sorts of radio equipments,such as the frequency band,transmit power,receive error rate and launch restrain etc,would been tested and diagnosed automatically.To adapt to the change of test requirement,standardized and modular design method be adopted.A sort of reuseable multilayer software architecture been adopted to deal with the redevelopment.In this software architecture,virtual instrument methodology and object-oriented technology have been combined to achieve configurable,flexible, scalable and reusable.The software implement and program test of automatic test system are describe in this paper,and a general-purpose software design methodology adapt to other similar system is given.
