With the development of the society,the weather forecasting and meteorological services have been involved in all aspects of the socio-economic and daily life,the society demands for even better services.The data collected by the meteorological observation are the basis for researching,understanding and making use of the basic laws of atmospheric exercise,also the data are the basis for weather forecasting and meteorological services.With the scientific progress,the technologies and approaches of meteorological observation have been improved greatly,and at the same time,huge materials and knowledges were produced during the observation activities;the methodology to manage the equipments and make good use of the quantity data has been becoming a major issue for the weathermen.Therefore,it's very important to set up an intensive integrated and comprehensive observation material management system for the staff to query the equipments' maintenance information,the application will provide the weathermen intuitive,efficient data-analysis and decision-support services,which play a crucial role in the weather forecast missions.This thesis introduces the fundamental architecture of the J2EE system and the relevant technology.Based on the characteristics of the meteorological,the detailed analysis,design,and implements of the J2EE-based Observation Material Management System,which is used by the Meteorological Bureau of the DongGuan City,are described in the thesis.The system provides the following two kind of management:1) Auto-Station and Observation materials management,2) Observation materials based-on new projects management and applications.All the observation data will be recorded into the database in real time,the system ensures the data integrity even after some files lost,and it provides a good foundation for the futher investigation of the observation materials.The thesis is organized as the following 5 parts:PartⅠ,Preface-explains the basis and significance of the subject,introduces the research status on the field, describes the system requirements and the structure of the thesis;PartⅡ,the backgound about the meteorological services,introduces the traditional and new observation equipments using in the Meteorological Bureau;PartⅢ,introduces the relevant funmental technology and the architecture of the J2EE-based system;PartⅣ, The design and implemention of the system,the detailed methods of the design and implemention;PartⅤ,the conclusion.
