According to the real situation of current material management in generation enterprises, this thesis adopts the lightweight J2EE architecture and Oracle database as the developmental platform, with the combination of the mainstream developmental technology of the present management information system. Based on traditional information system development, this paper provides a way for JinTang power enterprises to realize the electrical material management system based on the framework of lightweight J2EE.The paper firstly illustrates the significance and background of this project, analyzes the status and developmental trend at home and abroad, and researches the present technology of material management system. It also analyzes the advantages of choosing the platform-level power management system for material of lightware J2EE, combining the technical characteristics of the lightweight J2EE platform. From the various aspects of surveying overall structures, logic model, and core technology, the thesis has done a comprehensive study of the specific needs in material management system, the design of model in electrical material management system, and has illustrated the concrete realization of inventory and material inventory to function as an example to note the implementation process. The System uses three-layer-architecture, Struts takes charge of the presentation, Spring takes charge of business logic layer, and data persistence uses Hibernate framework to approach to the database. Meanwhile, expansibility and maintainability of the system within this franmework are also satisfactory.The research is based upon the electrical material of management system of the lightweight J2EE framework. While in the process of the project, a lot of test works have been done, and all the work are of good reference to the same type of system research.
