With the development of the international market, China's construction enterprises materials management is facing the huge challenge. This paper is to design and implementation of material management information system of a construction company. The design and development of the system to the company's actual business process as the background for the formation of processing company's engineering material management business has strong for engineering materials management information system.Starting from the research background, this paper analyzes the backgrounds and domestic and international situation of the engineering company supplies information management system, and analyze the problems existed in construction enterprise material management. According to the engineering enterprise material management business needs, the system participants, function of the system by UML use case analysis. In the design of database design data, design of concept model and physical model of the database system is analyzed. Using JSP as a function of software system interface development technology, realize the data reality through dynamic coding.The system using JSP, Servlet as business logic implementation using java code implement business logic processing, using hibernate ORM mapping management component. Meanwhile, the design of the software hierarchy structure, and different functional levels between the coupling models, the detailed design of the system functions, to achieve complete application code.The actual business management of enterprise engineering and as an object, we design and development based on J2 EE project materials management information system. The system uses the J2 EE development platform and MySQL database, using JSP and JDBC driver is connected to the database, and ultimately achieve system management, procurement management, inventory management, material allocation management, material recycling management and statistical query module. System development is the effective guarantee of the sustainable development of enterprises,will greatly enhance the enterprise staff's working efficiency, speed up the process of management information of engineering materials, and improve the corecompetitiveness of the enterprise market.
