Design And Implementation Of Material Management System Based On J2EE

With the development of economic globalization, the number of enterprises allover the world is increasing constantly, on the one hand, this provides conditions for thedevelopment of enterprises, but on the other hand, the competition between enterprisesis increasing, how to survive from the fierce competition, is the problem each enterprisefaces, especially for the enterprises which have production operations. Enterprises notonly do the purchase of materials themselves, but also do the production and sales, nomatter which part has a breakdown, that may bring big loss for enterprises. With theenlargement of the scale, the type and quantity of material enterprises need is increasing,so the cost of materials in the whole production process is increasing, how to doreasonable management of material purchase and distribution to ensure that the materialis fully utilized, is a very important way for businesses to save the cost.In this thesis, based on the full analysis of enterprise’s material management in ourcountry, combined with the investigation results of material management of enterprisesin Ji’nan, we design and implement the material management system. Firstly, this thesismakes a comprehensive analysis of current situation of material management inenterprises, gets the theory and practical significance of developing the materialmanagement system; secondly, we do the detailed analysis of enterprise materialmanagement, give the relevant requirements of each process, and in accordance with theneed of material management, divide the material process into several modules: materialstatistical information, material purchasing, material application, material approval, andmaterial distribution. Then analyses the needs of each role, each module’s use casediagrams and parts of the flow chart is given; thirdly, according to the design offunctional materials managememt, the software development technology is gaven: J2EEis the development platform of the material management system, then, design theoverall framework of our system. Based on the overall framework of the materialmanagement system, the function of each module is designed, design the classes ofmaterial management, the material management’s database is designed, the systemconceptual data model, physical model are designed; finally, based on the materialmanagement system needs analysis and functional design, we realize the materialmanagement system, the problems we meet and the solutions for each problems in the process of developing material management system are described, part of the interfaceis given, give the key codes of the material management system. At the same time, inorder to ensure the operations of our system are the same with the requirements, thecomprehensive test is given, the problems occurred in the test were modified, finish therealization of the material management system.This material management system uses J2EE technology, can be compatible withmost of the operating system, ensure that the system functions efficiently and safely.This system realizes the overall management of the enterprise material, includingmaterial purchasing, material inquiry, material distribution and other functions,improves the efficiency of enterprise material management, what’s more, the leadershipscan approve for material application by using this system, strengthen the supervision ofthe material management, standard the enterprise material management process.
