The Design, Based On Arm's Non-contact Ic Card Reader

Contactless integrated circuit card is a new technology in IC field, it is the result of combining radio frequency identification and IC card technology. It is characteristic of fast operation, strong anti-jamming, working method of contactless, high security, various applications. Now Contactless integrated cards have a wide market and absolute predominance in areas of automatic charging, identification and electrical purse. Card readers of contactless integrated card are the pivotal device in application systems of contactless IC. In this article, we designed a card reader of contactless IC whose sensitive is 10cm. It can be used in lectrical consumption, such as the sales in eatery, electrical tickets in transport and underground railway.This paper first studies the basic theories used in the system, including the theories of RFID technology, ARM processor architecture and embedded system. Then the design of contactless IC card reader is provided based on these theories. It is separated into three parts. The first part introduces the card reader, transceiver module of Philips high integration contactless chips MF RC500 and the designing RF transceiver module, interface circuit design for RF chip to do a detailed discussion. The second part introduces the core control module, which uses Philips company LPC2292 ARM7 chips for core, the power supply circuit, the memory of the communication interface circuit, the LED display circuit. These designs are described and the schematic diagram is given. The third part includes the system's programmer, and it takes transplant embedded system and through the model of adding task to achieve the functions of reader. Construction of the hardware and software platform for the contactless IC card reader is implemented via debugging the hardware and software.
