Design Of Entrance Guard System Based On Contactless IC Card

This article introduces a kind of Entrance Guard Sytem that is based on Radio Frequency Identification cards.Contactless IC Card is one kind of new technology in the field of IC card, which is the combination of Radio Frequence Identification technology and IC card technology. Radio Frequency Identification technology is a new technology of autoidentification in recent years. Wiretless and bidirection communication between reader and contactless card is their communicaton mode to identificate the goal and to swap data by radio frequency identifation.The power of IC card circuit is supplied by the power of electromagnetic wave from reader.Because contactless IC card has some advantages over common IC card such as its high working speed, good anticollsion quality and long working distance,there will be a good prospect for it in many fields,such as automatic pricing, identity distinguishing,electric wallet and so on.The contactless IC card reader is one of the key devices of a contactless IC card system.We developed one kind of contactless IC card reader, which is one part of a project and has about 100mm working distance.On the basis of the development of Entrance Guard Sytem, at first this paper generally introduces the contactless IC card,including its feature , type, composing and international standard.Then it introduces the technology of Entrance Guard Sytem.Based on these, the paper discusses the design of the contactless IC card reader in detail,inlcuding the circuit design and software design.The reader's circuit is made up of buzzer drive circuit,RS232 communication circuit,MF RC500 interface circuit and antenna circuit.The software design includes programing of MF RC500,programing of other circuit and programming of main program. At last the paper introduces the programming of checking data, reading card and wrighting card for host computer.
