Constructed Based On Data Warehouse Technology, Financial Data Analysis System

The goal of OLAP(On-Line Analytical Process) and Data Warehousing is to enable enterprises to gain competitive advantages by providing fast and better support of data analyses on data stored in corporate databases. At the same time,according to more and more perfect to the electronic financial account,the core function of the financial work is turning to financial analysis and financial management.In this processing,the original oriented accounting financial software can't suit to the new enterprise requirement.So it is becoming the enterprise manager's focus to how to implement effective management and decision support base on the accounting data.In this thesis,the author develops a financial analytical system for enterprise.In this system he applies OLAP and Data Warehousing technology.Aiming at Shanghai realty enterprise,the thesis firstly analyzes the present situation of financial analysis regarding Shanghai realty enterprise,including the characteristics of accounting,as well as the process,characteristics and existing problems of current financial analysis.Based on this,the idea of applying OLAP and data warehouse technology to current financial analysis is presented,and its necessity and feasibility are discussed,also the advantages of applying OLAP technology are demonstrated.Secondly,the thesis studies the diversified methods of financial analysis regarding Shanghai realty enterprises,and their functions and purposes as well.Combined with the actual situation of Shanghai realty enterprises,this thesis extends the structure of system of financial analysis,analyzes and discusses the frequently used financial analysis indexes.Consequently,Combined financial analysis with OLAP technology,the prototype of financial analysis system based on OLAP technology in Shanghai realty enterprises is designed,including data model of data warehouse and multidimensional dataset of OLAP.
