Nowadays the requirements of high-speed data acquisition system are becoming more and more necessary. High-speed Data Acquisition System and real-time recording system have become a more important role in testing systems. For the engineering application, this paper will bring forward a solution to complete High-speed Data Acquisition and data real-time storage. With the introduction of PCI Express bus technology and RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) technology to data acquisition and storage systems, data interface transmission bandwidth could be enhancing to a new level. Limitation of capacity and speed on data recording system will be well resolve with the using Raid disk array storage too.Firstly, this thesis introduces the development and architecture of data recording system. It discusses several critical technique of data recording system and brings forward substitute technologies, PCI Express bus technique and Raid disk array storage technology. the scheme it brings out is a more universal, more capable method which can satisfy the requirements of high-speed long time continuous data acquisition and storage.Secondly, the system can be divide into two parts, data acquisition and data storage which have been researched in detail. At the same time, main problems arising from during design process are discussed and key design schemes have been given. This thesis also studies the implement the PCI Express interconnect—a point-to-point differential interconnect technology based Printed Circuit Board(PCB) trace layout and gives some problems or principle to caution in board design.Lastly, this thesis gives problems met in debugging process and discusses the cause and the solving method accordingly. Test on parts and whole of system have also been done. The forward feasible improvements are proposed as well.The results prove that the proposed PCI Express technology-based data acquisition and recording system scheme can properly meet the demand of real-time data acquisition and storage and also achieve the desired functional requirements and performance index of the design...
