The developlment of High Speed Mass Storage Data Record Instrument is to acquire and to record the signals of the aircraft during flight experiments. The information recorded by the Data Record Instrument provides critical database for the evaluation of abilities of the aircraft, and for the status analysis alongwith the subsequent improvements.This thesis describes the functions of the Data Record Instrument at first and then divides the Instrument into several modules functionally. The division of the functions makes it much easier to complete the design. Four chips of AD7658 device are configured in daisy-chain mode to achieve parallel acquisition of 23 slow signals and serial data output. The daisy-chain feature allows multiple AD7658 devices to be cascaded together and is useful for reducing the I/O pins of the controller and wiring connections. Three chips of dual-channel A/D converter with a maximum sample rates of 80 MSa/s ADS62P43 are engaged to sample 6 video signals with 60MSa/s sample rate per channel. The realization of high speed mass storege data record is achieved with CF(CompactFlash) card, and high speed SDRAM is used to make up the shortage of CF card that the instantaneous data transfer rate varies although the sustained transfer rate is steady. The storage capacity of 23 slow signals is 512MB and 6 video signals 24GB. The data is sent to computer through USB2.0 interface with 15MB/s data transfer rate. At last this thesis presents the test results of the instrument and the results prove that the performance of the instrument satisfys the requirements.The storage capacity and data transfer rate can be easily improved by using advanced CF card without modifying the existing circuits。This Instrument has been used in the flight experiments of an aircraft, and its excellent performance satisfy the requirements completely. | Keywords/Search Tags: | High speed data acquisition, Mass storage data record, Synchronous Storage, CF Card, Ultra DMA | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
