location system is wide used and the mobile terminal is theimportant part of it.It has tow important technology, communication and location.The rapid development of computer and communication technology solve the communication problem and BeiDou navigation system provide the global user a cheap and convenient method of location.We dicided to develope our own the mobile terminalin vehicle location system due to the demand of the market and clients.This dissertation focuses on the BeiDou navigation system, it mainly researches the reservation and communication of the embedded Linux control-terminal.It particularly expatiates the software design and discusses the development method of multiplicate function module. The major work is as following:The first part introduces the common sense of what is embedded system and structure, embedded platform of BeiDou navigation terminals.Emphasizes the general situation, Characteristic and development of embedded Linux system. Moreover discusses the general design of MiniGUI Human-Computer Interface.The second part analyses the software requirement of terminal BeiDou Linux system, hereby compartmentalizes the software function modules, and expatiates the modular requirement of each module.The third part takes measures on the point of system design, macrocosmically presents the hierarchical design of terminal BeiDou Linux system. Mainly discusses the software design of reservation and communication module. Analyses the technique of Interprocess Communication and how to read file, and presents some Principle and procedure to the design for Human-Computer Interface.The fourth part aims at the implement of realizing the function. Discusses the development of interface layer, business logic layer and data layer, and has reached a satisfied effect.The fifth part has carried on the test run to the system, each function achieves the design requirements.
